[ A lock clicks, and the door opens without any resistance, as he was waiting for Chibi's arrival anyway.
It never sat well with him, the thought of having an organization he doesn't trust, monitoring and gathering information from him. Sharing a consciousness with his creator was one thing, as it was a two-way street that allowed him to also share information on Polaris, but the implants were a particularly 1-way street, and that street carried information to CERES, presumably.
Upon stepping into his apartment, Chibi will be greeted with an overwhelming amount of red and black furnishings, in case his own wardrobe didn't properly convey what his favored colors are. Red and black striped couches, dark red curtains, black tables, red carpet, the works. With this color scheme, it'd be easy to miss blood stains that blended into the surrounding colors...but he has no blood to bleed at the moment. His figurative mask has been torn off, his veil of having something similar to a human body lifted.
Saiduq's body is simply lying on the ground, his white curls thankfully obscuring the sockets he tore his eyes from, and his chest is apparently torn open, the edges of the shirt hole slightly singed, revealing...literal space. A small spherical purple crystal floats in the space, obviously broken with shards floating around. A small explosion of some sort from his core, which happened when he separated the implant from his eyes after taking the latter out.
Not one, but two eyeballs with no blood or veins connecting them to anything rest on the ground near his right hand, as if they were fake, plastic eyeballs plucked from a doll or a mechanism. (It's not too far from the truth, after all.)
The ocular implants themselves still lie in his left hand, a whole two of them, tiny, but certainly there.
He tried to be thorough, at least. It stands to reason that if implants were possibly in one eye, it could also be in the other. ]
[How... How very red. How very bloody, is what he's about to say, before he realizes it isn't blood; it's just all the textiles looking awfully like it. It's silent; Chibi steps into the room carefully as he can manage.]
[That said, he looks down and does, indeed, see a limp Saiduq. Perhaps the sight would be more distressing if there were blood, or organs, or anything but two glassy eyeballs and a gaping hole that seems to reveal... Space. Space, and galaxies (?!), and an exploded crystal not even the size of his fist floating around. The seat of Saiduq's consciousness, perhaps, in the way the brain is for a humanoid? Er... Well, a humanoid with organs?]
[Even more interesting are the electronics lying in his left hand - two, just big enough to fit into an eye, and looking terribly delicate. Ah, so these are the ocular implants! That delightful Flamine (or not?) tech that has been lurking in their bodies all this time, and Saiduq has paid the price for removing them. The price, apparently, is that some core within him has broken apart--]
[Alright, now that's interesting. See, Jason Todd's head had exploded; but without the related organs being in the head here, Saiduq's core had exploded. What in the Goddess' name is CERES keeping in there?? He almost reaches down to poke a finger into the gaping void of Saiduq's dead chest and search around, but then he considers that he may not get it back.]
[(He realizes he should be nauseated, but as it exists here, he's not feeling so much 'nauseated' as half-fascinated and half like he's been dumped into the uncanny valley. What in the actual fuck is happening?)]
[But if Saiduq staked his life on getting these implants out, and if he thought Chibi was the best person to handle them... He's going to have to take good care of them, isn't he. Ahh, two to play with, two to figure out these things' secrets--!]
Alright, then. [He says it quietly, like he's going to disturb the dead alien lying on the floor, and focuses energy into creating a portal back to his apartment. A few seconds later, he's carefully collecting the implants into two separate anti-static bags.]
