1. (Relatively) trustworthy. 2. Able handle technology for the most part. 3. Relatively rational and calm in somewhat stressful situations, like finding the potential dead body of an star alien.
The fact that that last part is needed in the first place is probably an indication that Saiduq is not all right in his head, or has a startling lack of self-preservation instinct, but hey. He's apparently smart enough to come up with a contingency plan for this stunt he's going to pull...without realizing how astonishingly dumb his original plan is in the first place. ]
